Join us Thursday, September 11, 2026, as Dr. Jo Boaler will engage attendees in looking together at different mathematical ideas and considering how they can be learned through a “mindset mathematics” approach. When people take this approach in all grades, different pathways open up, leading to higher and more equitable achievement.

Dr. Jo Boaler
British education author, Nomellini-Olivier Professor of Mathematics Education at Stanford Graduate School of Education, and co-founder of Youcubed.
Dr. Jo Boaler is a Stanford Professor. Former roles have included being the Marie Curie professor of mathematics education in England, and a mathematics teacher in London comprehensive schools. She is author of 19 books, numerous articles and a White House presenter on women and girls. Her latest book is “Math-ish: Finding Creativity, Diversity and Meaning in Mathematics.” She co-founded www.youcubed.org and www.Struggly.com. She was the recipient of a National Science Foundation ‘Early Career Award,’ the NCSM Kay Gilliland Equity Award and was named as one of the eight educators “changing the face of education” by the BBC.
