Superintendent of Mayfield City Schools and author of "The Modern Superintendent" and "Winning: Lessons on Life, Learning, and Leadership"
Dr. Michael Barnes, Superintendent of Mayfield City Schools, has dedicated over three decades to public education. Now, in his fifth year as superintendent and more than 20 years within the Mayfield district, Barnes is taking on an even larger role in shaping the future of Ohio’s education system. Recently elected as the president of the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA), he is bringing his experience, passion, and leadership to advocate for students, educators, and the future of public education.
